Ridge Vents

These vents are set into the roof’s peak and are one of the most effective “passive” roof ventilation systems. They are created along with the continuous space on each side of the ridge cap. Hot air gathering in the attic will rise and flow outside through ridge venting. Ridge vents are almost invisible to untrained eyes. As the warmer air flows out, fresher outside air is pulled into the attic through soffit vents.

Installed along the peak of a structure allows for humid and hot air to exhaust from the apex of the roof.
